Day 13 2/7/19 2/7/19 Around Cuxhaven

Day 13 2/7/19 2/7/19 Around Cuxhaven

Edina took us touring around Bremerhaven and some of the local villages today.
First stop was the fishing port (prawns apparently) where a kite surfer was enjoying the wind.

Prawn Trawler (at least we think that's the correct translation)

Barrier reef 14,669 Km, Grand Canyon 8586 Km

Later we visted some villages then the house were Troute grew up and Hans-Jurgen and Troute lived with her parents when first married. There was some discussion at dinner about the location which it appears Edina missed by one house. (see tomorrow)

Stork sculpture on the roof.

Sorry, no its not leaning, its the photographer

A lot of village streets are very narrow, fortunately this is one-way.

A lot of corn is being grown in the area but it is mainly for bio-fuel which is of concern to some

In the evening we visited Edina. Torben and their children Sydney and Eric for a BBQ dinner.

It was starting to get cold apparently.
