Day 27 16/7/19 Gower Peninsula, South Wales (Renoldston)

Day 27 16/7/19 Gower Peninsula, South Wales (Renoldston)

Quiet day today as Maritta was writing up her audit report. Spent the morning enjoying the quiet of the South Wales countryside.

Some locals enjoying the scenery

Maritta working on her report

Went for a drive around some villages in the afternoon to find something for dinner. I know we are in South Wales because Maritta cooked some Pork Faggots and Vegie fingers for dinner. Don’t know what’s in a Pork Faggot and probably don’t want to, but it tasted delicious.

Looking for lunch perhaps

Weren't planning on this one getting away quickly

Somehow found ourselves near Arthurs Rock, apparently a significant Medieval Monument, we didn’t actually find the rock, but there where a lot of people wandering about enjoying the scenery.

View from Arthur's Rock, I think

View in the opposite direction

Reputedly there are 400 Miles of walking tracks on the Gower Peninsula and about 60 Miles of roads so its pretty difficult to figure out where you are sometimes as most of the maps are for walkers, fortunately the GPS seems to be behaving itself today and didn’t take us across country although there was ample opportunity.

Tomorrow is another day.
